OUR SERVICES

Research

We deploy tailored quantitative and qualitative approaches to investigate specific contexts, trends, or sectors – with special reference to the post-conflict dimension, humanitarian assistance, and restoration of local livelihoods.

Monitoring and evaluation

We provide independent monitoring and evaluation services of implemented programmes. This includes needs assessments, base and end-line studies, beneficiary verification, third party monitoring, contribution analysis, as well as mid-term and final evaluations.

Risk and vulnerability studies

We elaborate risk assessment models which are underpinned by an accurate review of contextual threats. This allows for an understanding of the ways in which our Clients and their target populations may be affected.

Data collection

We rely on a range of sources of information collected on the ground, including checklists, secondary data reviews, direct observations, focus group discussions, semi-structured and structured interviews, key informant interviews, knowledge-attitude-practice (KAP) surveys, and opinion polls.

Since the onset of the regional crises in 2011, our founding partners pinpointed a significant gap which led to the establishment of Middle East Consulting Solutions:

“due to the rapid changes occurring in the MENA region, there was an ever-increasing need for highly qualified research entities with an extensive knowledge and axes throughout the region, capable of carrying out high-caliber work that could provide decision-makers with more profound multilateral views.”
